SCAMMER WARNING: Due to a spate of recent scam attempts (some successful) recently, if you're doing a deal in the classifieds, ONLY USE PAYPAL GOODS AND SERVICES UNLESS YOU KNOW THAT INDIVIDUAL PERSONALLY. It's really not worth saving a few quid.

If it sells in the subsequent 30 days from when listed, you still benefit from the discount.

I think its around 3% of the amount received into your Pay pal a/c. Ive been stung a couple of times by it, absolute rip off to my mind.

paypal fee is 3.75% to best of my knowledge.. that would be a tidy £112 fee on a £3k guitar if my arithmetic  correct.

Can you do "pick up only"  with cash in hand thus avoiding PP?

My Junior is on there for 1800 if anyone wants a look see...

PayPal fee on eBay is 3.4% (plus 20p, if that really matters) I sell plenty on there and have done recently, during these fee deals. So £102.20 would be the fee if it sold for £3000. And obviously add/take off shipping.

    Cheers.

Yeah cancel and relist, it works. If it auto relists it goes back to 10% so be careful with that

    It really isn't.

There are many reasons to be wary of ebay/paypal. The fees 'aint among them.
