Talking of dr Google .......... one of the doctors at the practice I go to used to listen intently to your issue, then turn to her PC and fire up Google! Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence!

I had terrible lower back pain back in the 80s, can't remember which side but it was very debilitating. Turns out I had a chill in my kidneys. Was bad news for a couple of weeks I think.

When I'm wearing my physio hat, and I get a patient who has a simple mechanical sacroiliac joint out of whack, I love it because putting it back makes one of the most satisfyingly deep "thuunk" noises ever.  It sort of goes... THUUNK  "Ouww!... oooh, ah, yes, that feels better!"

Still, I got my laminate flooring done, And didn't try to rescue an unrescuable boat, but did launch a greenhouse to Mars.

Well, of course I did have a deadline to meet, otherwise Mrs C's 50th birthday party bash (complete with the band in the living room) would have been a non-starter. Bollocks on chopping board, and all that. Fucking near killed me, though. I looked at the job, foolishly decided I could knock it off in a couple of days, and ended up finishing it 3 weeks later.

Toaster buying avoidance came later than the tiling job, and as for Emp's impressive record on non-laying of laminate flooring (which has now turned into an internal lamp-post for his pug), it's..........well.............impressive! In my defence, I did once have a complete fitted kitchen that lived in it's cardboard boxes for two years before I got around to getting it done.
