Well, thanks one and all for the messages of support. I feel like a recovering alcoholic being dragged to the boozer...

As has been pointed out, I am indeed Strat-less. I sold my CS one recently which I had bought from @guitars4you (don't you DARE bring any to Thirsk). First time I have not had a Strat for 33 years. I love them but they just sound too bright compared to my others and necessitate mass tonal adjustments. So I don't really miss having one.

It's certainly not a complete collection (obviously) but for my modestly able hands, these four really are way better than I need - and represent much more than the teenage me ever thought I'd possess.

So thank you lovely guitar-selling world for blessing me with these lovely wooden string-laden devices. I covet no more.

No problem, thanks. There's a few good writer ups knocking around, written by people who seem to know what they're talking about. My knowledge is limited to 'do I like it?' really, but I enjoy finding out about the history of them and then the GAS begins again!
