40hz celestion g12h30. ....any info ??!!

I just pulled the trigger on a pair of 74 g12h30's. I checked afterwards , and I noticed they're 40hz . I was expecting 55 or 75hz. Anyone know anything about these ??!!! I hope I haven't bought a dud ..!!

    I think they were made as bass guitar alternatives. 

    The low resonance would help the cones move better at low frequencies.  You should find that they do not have plasticised cone suspensions... just plain paper like the rest of the cone.
