Very true, but are any of them V125s? In that video he's specifically talking about the lack of negative feedback as the key to the sound, and the V125 has negative feedback.

Apparently so!   I'm sure he has tried one, I'd have thought Brian will have tried most Vox amps, actually performing live or recording with one is another story.

I have a Vox Climax and I quite like it. That said, I'd probably let it go for a bit less than that chap is asking, if anyone really wanted it.

It's unusual in having an active five-band EQ section, and in being a 125 Watt amp that actually sounds good at bedroom volume.

Brian May is pretty simple in his set up - he knows what he likes and, whilst I know he’s tried variations such as Matchless, he has always been happy with AC30’s and doubt he’s been a fanboy of any other model Vox produces. May have tried stuff for fun as it’s been sent his way, but he knows what makes his sound.

This poor chap is obviously a bit "special ".........too many disco biscuits / weed in years gone by etc . I am sure he is totally genuine ,genuinely cranky and sadly very deluded .
Don't poke him just leave him be ...........at least "the grandkids" will have a wonderful inheritance .

So he did load up the photos like he said he would, and they are nice guitars, that bass is lovely, Its a pity he is being so weird about selling them, perhaps he doesnt want to sell them at all.

Im tempted by this. Im a tree aficionado (unlike some other time wasters) and can clearly appreciate this is a £100 tree with £30 of lights. Best artificial tree ever made, he's giving it away. These sell for £500 in France
