Wtb Tweed Champ

Hi all,

As per the title i am looking to buy a tweed champ and wondered if there is anyone selling one on here? 

It doesnt have to be a Fender though thats ok if it is but im not after a homemade one. 

Also, as nice as they are im not in the market for an original.

Might be helpful to state a budget, no idea what they sell for second hand, but because they are handwired they are still fairly expensive

To be honest I don’t know what the going rate is. I missed the champ that @thebreeze was selling relatively recently. 

I know im not going to pick one up for less than £500.

I've never tried one in person but I've read some good reviews. It's a simple circuit so if something fails to please it shouldn't be too hard to upgrade.

Ace, I have really found that with some of my other amps too. The more basic the set up the better.

Here's my Champ about to be boxed and shipped to @shaunm - the Fender badge is 100% perfect. There's just a protective film (which can be removed) causing an optical illusion that makes you think the badge is bent. It isn't.

Great little amps.

I ended up buying thebreeze's Rift Tweed 5.

I replaced the 12AX7 with a 12AY7, it's absolutely bloody perfect for what I need at home - tweedy clean at bedroom volumes.

Great work Rift Amps!
