Fret position markers on the binding are on the wrong side (unless of course they have put them on both sides!)

Headstock would be the same left handed or not surely?

Yes it would.....but the silk screen is upside down

It is just the fretboard dots, but it is not normal practice for any guitar to have the dots on the treble side

fender put their logo in a different position on Lefties.   You would expect Gibson to flip the Les Paul script, but it is upside down here.   The Gibson logo doesn't need to move

This was a right handed neck right through production.   You would hope they did add dots on the bass side

Maybe it's a custom for someone who wants to play a wrong-way round guitar upside down, like Dan Swano does.

It is a historic feature - they have them on both sides as originally they were just RH necks.

In 50 years time someone will probably argue that this was always intended to be a right-hand guitar and will 'restore' it back to the way the factory meant it to be.

Yeh it does show a wonky consistency throughout the ages haha.

The headstock is the same deal - kept that way to preserve the way it was made as it was on the original 52 lefty I played. Can't say it really bothers me either way.
