SOLD FS/FT: Fender vintage blackface Bandmaster 1966

Looking to sell or trade my vintage Fender blackface Bandmaster head. Based on the codes, this is a 1966 model. Amp works flawlessly and is in very good cosmetic condition for its age. This is an export model, so no step down transformer is required. Absolutely no mods done to the original blackface circuit.

Output transformer has been replaced with the correct spec American Classic Tone one, which features outputs for 4, 8 and 16 Ohm so as to be able to plug it into any cabinet. Right now the outputs for 8 and 16 Ohms are connected to the two speaker jacks in the rear panel, with no drills. Third output for 4 Ohm is not connected. One can easily fit a switch in one of the jacks (again without drilling any holes) and connect all three outputs, but I never bothered as I didn’t need 4 Ohm. Choke is Mercury Magnetics. The necessary recap job has been done with top quality parts (Sprague, Sozo blue molded etc).Tremolo intensity pot is on/off, so as to take it out of the circuit if necessary.

Not a museum piece this one, but rather a very well-maintained blackface amp, ready for care-free operation for another 50 years. Amp will be shipped fully retubed with TAD tubes. I’m located in Greece and have no problem shipping the amp.

Well, I understand that some are cautious in buying from outside the UK. I personally have bought amps from the US and since there's a respective thread lately, a few days ago I took delivery of an amp from Italy. Arrived in 6 days via regular Italian post, no problems at all. In my case, I'll probably use a courier service.
