The only way to check a guitar nicely is to use laquer that does it, this is just my take on it, I'll never razor check anything

I do think Gibson are sometimes guilty of oversimplifying the process and stopping too soon. It's easy to find examples with very an overly consistent look, or sprayed on greening... It's nice to see a better example from them.
