    I got all excitable - Geddy is hitting the UK to sign copies! A chance to meet my bass hero!!

    Costs £60 for book plus signing ...... damn, too much for me. Sad face ....

    Ho, hum. It seems a little extravagant to travel to Europe just for book signing promotional purposes. What else could the author be up to?

    I’d love to go to this but a) can’t afford the dosh or the time at the moment, and b) even if I did go, apart from getting my book signed, of what benefit is it to me?

    Back in ‘97 my best friend, at the time, and I went to a Rush gig and tried to blag our way to meet the band. I’m so glad we didn’t, though, what would I have said to any of them?

    They did acknowledge our presence and persistence in their own way though - not by having us removed lol.

    Oh we were there well before the gig even started. We met some of the entourage - Neil’s daughter was there but we didn’t meet her, but yeah, we were told it was never going to happen. Quite glad it didn’t, like I say. 

    Needless to say I've mellowed a lot since then.
