NGD - warning Jazzmaster content

it all started wating Nels Cline (again) - i needed another Jazzmaster.

Later that week Jon @rexter had an incredible Inca Silver body for sale
- and the project was born.

I’m not a fan of corned beef tort. In fact most tort leaves me cold but then a plate came along that ticked every box. Its allegedly a 1962 plate - its certainly a proper 1960s one as its shrunk massively. Plus its been broken and repaired. Perfect for this relic body then!

I’m a big Mastery briidge fan and their trem does exactly what it says on the tin. Its a shame they are so dear... still, I wanted the best and in my opinion, it is the best available right now.

The neck cane from a Mascis Jazzmaster allegedly. I say allegedly as the face and back of the headstock have been stripped. Plus its a gloss finish on the back of the neck - which feels GREAT. Certainly the frets and profile feel right - its a cracker!

Currently, the electronics are the weak link - its the guts of a Jap Jazzmaster and they are *ok* but not great. Mojo A3 pickups will be going in shortly.

So, happy christmas to me...
