    I don't hate that.
    I'd have a blue one.

You are a man of good taste.

I'm torn between all three, but think Blucifer is the one as well.

The word ‘Gristlemaster’ makes me feel a bit funny inside... O_o
Too much gain... is just about enough \m/

I'm probably the only member of this forum mentioned by name in Whiskey in the Jar ;)

I really like the blue & yellow ones. What sort of RRP are we expecting... £1-1.2k~ or so? Estimating a bit above the Reverend standard due to the pickups.

Found a Namm vid on YouTube.

The pictures and spec have been floating around for a little while ( I'm not quite an obsessive weirdo but I've got Greg on Instagram) although I've yet to see the merest hint of a price. They are bigger than a standard Tele which might not be obvious from seeing one with Greg. I think it's 5% bigger body or something.

Me too, I did an article back in November about them.

    Just need a price now!

  • I've always wondered how accurate would the intonation on those compensated saddles would be?

As long as you don't play gauge 8s you should be fine

Like it, to be honest I think it sounds better than most of Gregs other guitars he plays in his basement of broken dreams bar his original 52 Tele. Wonder if he'll ditch playing the Fender Custom Shop Tele live now? I'd like to see some of these artists practicing what they preach$   =)

Not keen on the small plastic surround for the neck/Rhythm pickup. I would prefer the pickup to be screwed directly into the body wood.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

I was a bit unsure at first, but I like it now. Especially the chrome one on the red one... I want a chrome plate on the yellow/blue ones.

Agreed. Chrome would look nicer than off-white plastic. I’d still want direct pickup mounting.

Fishman Gristletone bridge/Treble and Classic humbucker neck/Rhythm combination could prove interesting.

    Oh great, another Tele. Yawn.
Serioulsy though apart from the pickups what’s the difference?

Well it's chambered, and has a bigger body than traditional telecasters (4%~ bigger).

    F@ck me, revolutionary then!
    I jest.

it just seems like Fender release some new shapes and everyone’s like “urgh ugly” and “burn it”. But then someone else copies fenders design and it’s lauded over.

    We’re a strange bunch.

Not so keen when Reverend produce models so closely related to the trinity. I much prefer those that add a bit of their own style.

I cant really see all the fuss about it .Its a modded tele and frankly more about sales practice than any useful design features iIs just designed so its a bit different  from a Tele and looks like it will take a P90 .

Me too. But those guitars are mostly in the (large) signature collection, and the ones that stand out as 'copies' are the Pete Anderson models, and now Greg Koch. It's good to see that most of the signature artists have chosen Reverends more original designs.

To be fair if someone likes it it's not really any different to any other guitar .

    Looks pretty cool.
