Bluesbreaker 2 is horrible.  One of the biggest mistakes I made was selling a version 1 and buying a version 2.

I was working on the assumption that the drive part of the v2 was the same as the v1 with the added benefit of a boost.  I was wrong.  Drive was nasty.

Drive was a volume boost IIRC.

I'd have thought a Marshall Supafuzz would cost you an arm and a leg, but the idea of them appeals to me because they were based on a Tonebender (MKII I think).

Bit more on the BBii. It was one of my first pedals. I found it okay. When gigging I actually used the second setting which was basically a volume boost, and I used it , funnily enough, as a booster.

The conventional OD part was pretty good. I used it to fill out the drive sound of the transistor Marshall amp I was using at the time. It made it sound a lot less brittle.
