Fractal AX8

So the first gig with the AX8 didn't really go as expected. During soundcheck I wasn't happy with the sound of the preset I had setup at home on the AX8, it just sounded a bit distant and empty with no punch. I tried to sort it out with EQ and volume but I ran out of time and so just had to go with it.

The next day I fired up the AX8 at home to see if I could figure out the problem. I noticed it straight away. I had the enhancer block in a parallel path with some weird settings. (I must have moved this at some point because I'm sure I had it in series originally).

I seemed to remember reading on the Fractal forum that this isn't recommended as it can create phase issues, which in hindsight was exactly what I was experiencing. I moved the enhancer block so it was back in series, I adjusted the settings and it sorted the problem out. All the punch came back.
