The 5r has a pretty wicked gain channel for a small amp. I like white amps personally.

Great little amp . First impression is it is well put together and very flexible for home and studio.
Actually in the flesh the white looks really cool.
It actually has very nice clean sounds and the overdrive channel can be from very slight to fairly extreme .
So far lives up to the reviews. I have an ext cab and yet to try it , but am sure it will be even better

My little daughter pointed out at the weekend that I have a "black Blackstar" and an "orange Orange"  Not sure where I can go from there...  corn-coloured Cornford?

How about a dumb dumble . I have to say I like the idea of a White Blackstar , and actually looks nice in the flesh :-)

Well a few days in and have to say the best 279 quid I have spent. A cracking amp for the price of a keeley ts808 !
Really nice clean sound , one happy chappie !

Well I am still very impressed.
The clean channel is limited to a single tone knob, but not really an issue. The overdrive channel has a lot of choice , and actually can be run fairly clean.
It's not metal distortion , but really nice and good separation .
I would give it a major thumbs up.
