Ear fatigue or amp on the wonk?

JetfireJetfire Frets: 1717
So after playing for 2 hours in a gig enviroment last night, I felt that my amp wasnt giving out as much gain as possible. Its not a usual set up for us as I wasnt cranking it as loud as I normally do but I though my amp wasnt as gainy as it was as the start of the set.

Would this be a symptom of ear fatigue or potentially my amp on the wonk?

Hard to say. It's perfectly possible that by the end of a two hour gig you're not hearing things like you did at the start - it's happened to me plenty times! But without actually hearing it, hard to say. All you can do is play through the amp again and see if it sounds right to you.

I get this all the time, especially towards the end of a 2 hour set. It's very annoying.
