WTB A delay pedal. A working one would be fantastical

Well, following on from the DISASTER that ensued following my last pedal purchase (on this very forum I might add) I’ve decided that I should really learn to trust again. It’s not the forums fault that I was sold a lemon. 

So, let’s start...

Id like an analogue or tape delay. I prefer my delay slightly softer and not as harsh as the likes of a Boss DD. With this in mind I’m thinking about a Boss DM2, Wampler Faux analog, Wampler Tape...

Budget is £100 maximum. Condition wise I’d prefer something that isn’t trashed.

Hey bud, you ever tried the Analog setting on the Boss DD7? It's every bit as good as the DM2w in my opinion, unless you like that weird oscillation stuff, which it can do but not as smoothly. Aside from that, the DD7 sounds great

For me, there is a big difference between analogue delay and tape. A lovely warm analogue is hard to beat, the Boss DM2 or the EHX Memory Boy are both good options.

I’ve owned a DD5 and DD7, tbh I’d rather give that line of pedals a miss. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I know. But I guess what I’m saying is a don’t want a laser sharp digital delay

No worries bud, as a heads up, having had both the DM2w and DD7 at the same time, they sound pretty much identical, so the DM2w might not be what you're after either. Happy hunting

I've an old Dod/digitech pds 2000 or 1002? will have to check, if that's any use?

I had the switches replaced by Owen electronics as they had become intermittent & have seldom used it since.
