Fairbanks F40 Torrified

This is a very, very special guitar indeed. Handmade by master luthier Dale Fairbanks in Connecticut, USA. I bought it new from North American Guitars after reading the 5 star review in Acoustic Magazine (a copy of the mag will be provided with the guitar - good provenance!). 

It is made from the best of the best tonewoods - flamed maple back and sides with adirondack spruce top, Honduran mahogany neck. The guitar is fully torrified which helps mature the woods and helps create a superb, light guitar. 

The guitar is fitted with a K&K pickup which suits it really well. Condition overall is very good with only light playwear. Only thing to mention is that an area around the end pin chipped out when being reamed for the pick up. It has been repaired and is hardly noticeable. Just mentioning to be transparent. 

This guitar sounds superb. Top top notch. Plays really well with a good action.

£3750 or I am open to trade deals with other quality acoustics (cheaper) and cash top up.
