    The terrible irony is that the Melvins (for recorded output at least, they are still a ludicrously good live band) were easily at their best before he switched to EGCs and used the same knackered custom all the time

    Heh he.......wouldn't it be mad if you bought the guitar on the strength of these photos and it duly turned up in the post and it wasn't transparent at all but had a "floor covering" finish?   :)
