“The ultimate chord tone”.... er, no. Tbh, that’s exactly the sound I try to stay clear of. If the gain was dialled back 50% you’d still have plenty of compression with some string definition.

I meant the jr. £700 and it sounds brilliant in that clip. Try to listen on speakers or headphones rather than your phone.

Sounds like stuff I used to be able to get out of a Digitech RP100 with minimal twiddling.
