It's a Boss.  It won't break.  Therefore it beats the Nova Delay - of which I have had two and they both died.

My DD20 broke. And I treated it with great care.. 

You must have had the runt of the litter. Mine has had 13 years of abuse and works lovely

Is the md 200 signal path analog dry thru? I saw it somewhere that it would be. Would that work for a modulation pedal?

I don't think that's possible with a 100% wet effect. Chorus maybe
