Its been while since I posted, you remember I bailed on the forum as I needed to just get on with life (you all know my story - Sarah still ok by the way).
Anyhow why the reappearance? Well life has a habit of dealing us a shite hand and we need to raise some cash fairly rapidly so although i dont have much in the way of a guitar collection anymore, I do have a few bits, in particular this. It's a 1973/4 Telecaster custom in what one might call players grade condition. It's a real relic without the belt sander and screwdrivers. It's my birth year guitar.
It's not wholly original with replacement tuners and pots. It also needs a refret. Now, I can get this done, but it will be to my specs. I am at first offering up as it is, slightly cheaper so you can get it done to your own preferences. There is a vintage correct hard case but it's not original.
It's got the best sounding bridge pup of any tele I've ever played - so fat and humbucker like.
I don't really know how to value this - taking the refret needed into account and looking at similar models on sale on the internet it seems that the values range wildly from 2.2k to 3.5k . I'm happy to listen to offers and obviously with a vintage more than happy to provide detailed photos etc. But to stay in forum rules I'm looking for £1900 ono
As I said- we need to raise some funds and this has to go, but please dont throw silly offers at me, and obviously trades are out unless there is a 80/20 cash split. I'll let the pics do the talking
