I picked up a used MKIII a few months ago from eBay. I love the Fractal modelling and effects and the III has way more CPU than the II. They currently sound similar amp modelling wise, but the III will get the new developments.

I used it mainly to have quick ‘turn knob’ access to the main amp and Cab parameters. @paulmapp8306 did a video of his more complex setup, but I can’t find it.

It was developed by a bloke on the Fractal Forum and is a great bit of kit. It allows easy PC free access to any Axe FX II or XL function. Overview here:-

Axe FX III - got a great deal on a used one, if I hadn’t I’d still be using the Axe FX II, it’s still an amazing bit of kit.
