One in, one out so this has to go.

In excellent condition and unmarked apart from the scratch plate which show some marks.  Absolutely standard and unmolested.  Very shiny.

A very versatile guitar, with the single coil in the neck and the splittable humbucker in the bridge, providing a wide range of very useable sounds from very Stratty to pretty much LPJ.  Everyone who plays it is surprised by what it does and how well it does it.

25" scale of course, very ordinary neck, not fat, not thin, not wide, just ordinary and comfortable to play.  And very light, suprisingly so.

Now I have the Tele - albeit in bits - this is redundant.  It's a lovely guitar, sounds good, feels good and, by golly, .......

I'm in York so pop in for a play.  I can courier with some preparation - it only has a gig bag so I will need to sort packaging.

£750.00 + a bit if shipped and, as ever, open to sensible offers

Agreed.  I love the looks and, of course, the low weight.

In your position, I would be tempted to install an Oil City Pickups Big Block in the Vela.

It’s a very different beast from a tele, though it’s probably as versatile. I wouldn’t look at a tele as a replacement though. The only vague similarity is the bridge

Lovely guitars, I have a white one and it plays beautifully. Sounds are also really versatile and useful with these models.

Mate even instalments would be a stretch at the moment, got some work going on in the house at the moment which means my GAS fund is what’s left in my GAS account and I can’t really add to it at the moment, I only have £450 left in that

We have the builders in too and it's scary.  No worries anyway as the guitar will probably end up staying and I'll sell my Sheraton instead.  Or not.

It’s all decorating and new carpets, which is thankfully being done while we are on holiday so at least we aren’t having to live with it.

It was/is.  It's gone to a guy in Durham who promises to gig the hell out of it, using it alongside his S2 Starla.
