    In the early 80s the quality of fender original and copies was shyte ,so the jvs were a breath of fresh air ..but it is now 38 years on ..yes 38 !!!and the quality is now through the roof, i would put any classic vibe agains a j.)v 
    its the emporers new clothes senario ..oh the jvs are great  etc ..yes i agree they were amazing in the 80s ..i owned one ..but it is now 2019..and the classic vibes ive had have been as good..dealers/ owners wont want to hear this ..but thats the truth ..in my opinion

    A Squier JV hands down remains to be the best strat I've ever played (I so regret not buying it) and this happens to be one of the stratiest things I've ever heard:

    My sides are sore laughing at this. My 1983 JV is on par with any American made Strat..excellent guitars
