A Gibson Les Paul from the 'Good Wood' glory days of the 1990s. No chambering. No PCB electronics. No auto-tuners. None of the nonsense that Gibson have been doing in recent years. Just a beefy rock machine with two humbuckers, a tuneomatic fixed bridge, Kluson tuners, a gorgeous rosewood fingerboard and minimal weight relief.

An absolute classic plain top, in Cherry Sunburst.

One tiny ding on the back of the neck (you have to really look to see it and you don't feel it at all when playing. A few minor cracks in the body binding. No scratchplate, but those are a doddle to replace if you want to and why would you want to cover any of this gorgeous top?!

Overall this guitar is in incredible shape for an instrument that is now more than a quarter of a century old.

Willing to consider trades, but probably won't go for anything with a Floyd Rose. I have cash to add for anything really nice. Keen on a Mayones or a Music Man Majesty, if there are any knocking about.

£1495 from Southampton.
