Best recording software with XR18 as interface?

Ive tried Auria with iPad but seems unstable. People seem to rate Reaper, would appreciate some advice for using either iPad or laptop with XR18 as the interface?

I use both Reaper and Cubase with my XR18. 

Reaper seems to be the most stable, and I just have templates setup for my common setups. 

I've never had even a hint of an issue recording live with it. Superb!

I use Studio One with my XR18 and it works perfectly. I record via USB to a pretty low spec Acer laptop running Windows 10 that I bought for £50. The laptop stays in the band van and is used solely for recording gigs and running the mixer software. It works perfectly fine with no issues.
