WTB Gibson LP R8 2017 from Peach Guitars Shop

I'm looking for a Gibson LP R8 from 2017 that were sold £2499 at Peach Guitars shops some months/year ago.

The criteria are:

* Long tenon

* R9 neck profile

* Plaintop (not mandatory at all for this point)

As you opened the subject @SRich , maybe would you explain the story in some words, guess I would have to read all the 100 pages from the thread ?

Up until 2017 no historic reissue Les Pauls had a gap between the neck pickup and the fretboard. The earlier 2017 ones did. Nobody knows why. If you look at genuine original vintage 1950s Les Pauls, some have a gap and some don't. That's basically it. It's honestly a non issue that was made into an issue because it was a small detail that was different to previous reissues. Some people don't like the look as much, but most don't seem to give a cats whisker. Look at some photos and decide for yourself   Later 2017s don't have the gap though, so if you care that much look for a later 2017 one.
