FS - Ash T-style unbranded: £160

Gorgeous Ash body Tele-style from Alan George (some of you may know him/his work). He's a builder/seller who orders stuff in bulk from China and sets up/builds/gives general TLC to before selling on.

For a cheapie, it really impressed me with it's sound and feel out the box - Ash body, Maple Neck, not too heavy. I was picking it up more often than I thought I would next to my other guitars.

I had it "once-overed" at PMT Manchester (Fret level and dress, new bone nut cut and fitted, switchcraft jack and a setup). I've also replaced the bridge saddles with compensated brass ones which intonate and ring out nicely.

I'm at peace with the fact I'm going to eat some of the cost of the setup and parts, but they really do make it a respectable instrument, in my opinion. I'd hold onto it, only it really doesn't fit my playing style, sound or needs for my band, and I'm finding myself having increasingly less time for side-projects. Fantastic condition bar one tiny knock near the jack (pictured).

I'm after £160, less than a Squire Affinity, and I daresay a wholly better instrument.
