Chamfering a tele body

Got a new tele project body and the first plan is to put on forearm and belly contours. What would people suggest be the best tool for this job?

Strangely I was hoping for something along the lines of a discussion about the relative merits of plane vs a spokeshave or various power tools etc from people who'd actually done it

I'd use a Herdim rasp.

Cut 3 to remove most of the material, then a Cut 5 when close.

Then finish with sandpaper.

Some people use a grinder with a flap wheel on. Very harsh way but turns out good results.

Cut most off with a bandsaw,then sand .

I did most of the belly cut on this one with a standard cheapy cheap rasp from wherever, and then smoothing it with cabinet scrapers and sandpaper.

A decent roundover router bit for the edges!

It doesn't take long to do by hand, and is a lot safer than using powertools on it.
