    I'm pretty sure the original of Maggot Brain is Eddie Hazel and that's Beane playing it in a later version of the band. Reading the obits he seems best known for the Isaac Hayes version of Walk on By which I'll admit isn't ringing any bells so I'll have to look that up. But interesting and varied career including as a police officer.
