After much deliberation, I've finally decided to sell my vintage 1983 Hamer Vector. This is a beautiful example with a stunning flame maple top and is all original, including the DiMarzio pickups. Some finish checking consistent with age and the odd small ding but otherwise in excellent condition. Recent, flawless professional refret with original gauge fret wire. This is a beautiful, highly resonant guitar, which, sadly, is not getting the use it deserves. Comes with original Hamer hard case. Happy to ship in the UK at cost. No trades, thanks.

Wow!  I had one of these, I think it was a 1982, but in plain black, nowhere near as pretty as this one.  I've always regretted selling it, although I don't know if I'd like it as much now as I did then.

I see some of the finish has flaked away around the tuner washers, that always seems to happen with old Hamers, must be something about the finish they used.

    Good luck with the sale!

I don't think this is going to be hanging around long, is it...?  :)

Hope not (even though I'll be sad to see it go). Quite a lot of interest already. It is a beautiful example and it sounds huge. The build quality, even allowing for the fragile lacquer that Hamer used during the late 70s and early 80s, is absolutely superb.

This was mine until I sold it to @funhouse in 2018.
I can confirm it being an extremely resonant (huge body, dry honduras hog woods) guitar with intense sustain and loads of tone.
Only disadvantage: Plays not so well when seated ;-)
    GLWTS, Cam!

Depends on your habit how to do it > manspread is the best way, though socially not the most desireable manner:
