Am I seeing other members' PMs?

Question for the site admins. I was browsing the classifieds and I clicked on a member's name because I wanted to know their location. When their page came up, I was a little surprised to see a few emails between that member and another about a transaction. In this case there wasn't anything said that should obviously have been confidential, but they looked like PMs rather than thread discussions. Is  it possible that I was seeing PMs, and if so, is that normal for viewing a member's page?

No, those aren't PMs. Those are people who haven't realised that posting on somebody's wall isn't private
