for the purposes of gathering expressions of interest, we are assuming the same location (Bristol) and venue (Factory Studios).
Based on the assumption of Factory Studios, Bristol, will similar attendance numbers will be necessary to reach break even?
    Be seeing you.

Potentially yes, depends on date, I was all set for last year and then the date changed, I work quite a lot of Saturdays for the Uni I work for doing Open Days, so it needs not to clash with one of those.

  • Up for helping with organisation and recording on the day.

I think it would be great to keep it to one room so that if people aren’t playing there is a bit of an audience for those that are. I spent most of the time in the main room last time and it was a great atmosphere and very supportive.

Oh and I can play drums if people need it, and supply the kit.
    Or just play guitar/bass.

Kit + ability to play well most welcome.

@Brocco How many volunteer forumite drummers = 1 Connor? ;)

@Funkfingers - this goes to your earlier question on the number of attendees needed to cover costs, as Connor was certainly excellent last time, but we did pay him, so it would virtually guarantee a viable event if we could find an excellent drummer prepared to play solely for the love of music  ;)

I know a drummer from my (ex) band who would probably be happy to play if he is free

Octatonic did all the drumming at the first jam event in Leicester and was superb at it. He’s a great drummer. If hes offering and can make the proposed date it’s worth taking his offer seriously.
