About a week ago @Lodious suggested we take a trip to Music Street in Huntingdon as he had the itch for a PRS.

Needless to say, he walked away empty handed and I, having gone with no real intention of buying anything, walked out with this.

Nice! I've been perving at these eastmans online. The bound F hole is classy, and the multi ply binding, and the ebony + split diamond fretboard

I paid quite a bit more for a factory bigsby Gibson 335 without the fancy appointments. It has quite a fat neck tho which is my preference (could be fatter but hey ho). These necks are quite slim aren't they?

Aside from Rob Williams, Haydn Williams and Patrick Eggles' stuff, I thought Eastman were the stars at the B'Ham Guitar Show.

Fatter than my Heritage 535 neck, probably a tiny bit thicker than my ‘93 and ‘03 LPs even, but not really chunky.

Actually yes, I should have said that in my post originally. Highly recommend Music Street, great shop, really good staff and a nice friendly vibe to the place. @AndyMusicStreetUK thanks, I’ll be back :)

The Eastman's are brilliant, though I think the pickups in there, though good, aren't perf CT. Swapped them out for some oil city ones and damn! It's sounds awesome

^ I’m going to leave them in for time being and see how I get on with them but I have some Oil City Mighty 90s in a Les Paul so I know how good they can sound :)
