An old friend of mine introduced me to guitar way,way back and one day brought along a 60s electric guitar...wow an electric! i thought to myself at the time

I'd love to see a pic of it again...it may have been foreign IDK.

What i remember was the organ type knobs as shown below*....the red guitar had a zero fret and i believe a plastic fretboard and a whammy...ring any bells?

*the guitar i think had a couple of sets of the switches shown here in a group of three on the left

That's a Tiesco-made guitar - they made a huge number of brands including the "Woolies Specials", but from your description I wonder if it was actually an Eko?
