@badgerific after you are done with it give me a shout :-P
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I was wondering what might be wrong wth this as I awaited it's arrival, but nothing unexpected - the usual various bridge inadequacies... apart from that s'alright (not having had it through an amp yet) Interesting to compare with the Mascis... I prefer the 'ordinary' lesser fretted neck on this... neck seems a mite thicker... not as heavy as the Mascis - you can see the diff in body wood in the neck cavity and a neck shim is essential to make it properly playable... much closer in feel to a pal of mine's ancient 'vintage' JM than the Mascis... @badgerific - will do :)
