So this came my way at not a bad price, it’s had a life but was bought with getting it refinished in something mad by the welsh wizard Rich so dings are ok. 

The plan is a green sparkle finish I think. Undecided as yet, so suggestions are welcome. 

Had one before and silly me sold it. It’s a PRS Vela

Agreed^ I've always said the ultimate guitar is a beaten PRS. A PRS you can  dig into and play. This is why I sold my Custom 22. Couldn't just play it for fear of damaging it. Nice guitar dude!

It’s already pretty dinged and I bought it cheap with the idea of getting it painted so it’s just a case of deciding on colour now

What's the deal with the pickups on these guitars? Are they both humbuckers or is the neck a single coil?

The bridge is a humbucker with coil split
the neck is a dyansonic Influenced single coil. And they are both brilliant

The bridge is filter’tron influenced too, it’s a far-east version of the Starla pickups. Lovely sounding things!

Yeah the Vela is probably the only guitar I truely regret selling. I will own another.
