when your hand goes pop but...

If you feel something go pop/twang in your fretting hand then your hand kinda goes tingly and numb for a little while, BUT your fingers loosen up and you starting playing faster and more accurately, what's up with that?

    Follow up on this, no pain, but my playing has definitely not been in any kind of zone the last couple days.

    Just a little less strength and accuracy, especially in the pinky.

    Anyone using compression sleeves? Just ordered a set on Amazon as a precaution to use when practicing.

    I get this doing certain long stretches with my pinky, but its in the joint itself. Hurts usually and sometimes gets stuck.

    Well, it wasn't getting any better, so I went to the docs.

    Apparently it's a "touch" of tennis elbow and CTS.

    Doesnt expect it to be chronic, but gotta wear these for a while and take anti-inflammatories..
