Alterego x 4 or Empress Tape delay?

So, was just about to pull the trigger on the empress when I the alter ego x4 email dropped into my inbox... checked out the PGS Demos and it looks really sweet Trouble is now I have no idea what to buy!

Getting to test both will be very hard - important to me is tap temo and presets, Price is similar.... I currently have a Nova Repeater which I like but I could really use the presets features as I need multiple settings in some songs and changing on the fly is proving to be an arse....

Oh to be  blessed with such choices!!
