King Of Leon last night in Manchester

I'm not a massive fan to be honest but a mate got us tickets. They put on a great show, I like how none of them are great players (the lead guitarist is very basic indeed) but the songs suit their abilities. Although they did have a third guitarist/keyboard player lurking in the shadows that pissed all over them in terms of ability.

Im quite jealous. Its been about 8 years since Ive seen them, and whilst everything sex on fire onwards has left me 'meh', the first 2 LPs are absolute guitar classics.

I love em and think current album is the strongest yet. I'm not so sure the playing is as basic as it sounds, drummer is amazing so is the bass player if you listen to what they are doing.  I really like the guitar playing as well. Some lovely country licks .  No surprise they got signed at such a young age
