Where can I get a large box for shipping a guitar?

It's in a large hardcase so it needs to be bigger than a conventional guitar box.

Probably an acoustic box would do it.

I had a 12 string Taylor delivered.  But let me know the min dimensions and I’ll check first.

Wilkos sell extra large boxes in packs of 5 for £9. You can make a very sturdy box out of 1 or 2 taped together with plenty of parcel tape.

Be a bit careful with your measurements. 

I came a cropper when I ordered 10 nice double walled shipping boxes from a well regarded seller on eBay for £80 as I’m planning selling some of my guitars and they looked robust and a decent price.

I assumed the size would be fine for a guitar in a case with space for extra packing without running a tape measure over anything.

The boxes were too small in length for a standard rectangular case unfortunately, and too shallow for an LP shaped case.

I needed to ship swiftly so I ended up using the box that contained the guitar boxes to ship the guitar in its case!

I’ll break a couple of the boxes to make up better fitting boxes.

My silly mistake!
