Since the lockdown I’ve been doing a lot of guitar practice and I decided I’d like some lessons ,, I’ve been taking lessons from Eric klerks who plays in he current magic band and we’ve been learning beefheart stuff it’s most fun and challenging stuff I’ve tried to play

Fun stuff.

I spent too long trying to suss out the pickup combination on Eric’s guitar. It reminded me of Jerry Garcia’s Alembic pieces.

Superb work. Great to see you using this endless excess of endless free time for positive pursuits.

There's no way I have the dexterity, patience or ability to play Beefheart, it looks incredibly difficult to play, organised chaos where things seem like there's no order but an incredibly detailed tapestry of intricate riffing/slide work etc. I love Beefheart for sure.
