Les Paul’s Birthday

Remembering the great man on his 105th Birthday. I was lucky enough to have a front table seat to see him at the Iridium NY in July 2004. An unforgettable gig ! I was also lucky enough to have a brief chat with Les and get a CD signed.
Whilst I was waiting in line for the latter a very elegant Lady sat down beside Les and said (loudly)  “ Les..there is one thing I want you to know.... Clapton is not God, YOU ARE !!” Which cracked up all assembled. Happy Birthday Les !

Call me crazy, but I think they should issue some kind of commemorative signature guitar.  Maybe Gibson could do it.
