Sheepish NFBCD.

After tempting providence by declaring my work here to be done around 4 days ago, as if by magic something appeared to poke the constant tristesse that my all too temporary Feline Slash custodianship had left in my sad and empty life.

Laydeez and djentlemen, I went for it: the @FelineGuitars Blues Cat.  Courtesy of the charming @MtB of this parish.

2008/9 build.  Virtually perfect nick - barely a mark on it.  Nice chunky frets look almost unused.  Mahogany body and neck, plain flat top, rosewood board, Bareknuckle Mule in the bridge, SD 59 in the neck.

LOVING the whole stripped down LP vibe of the thing, and (unlike the Slash) I'm not too scared to hoick it round Schloss Moans and the tangled jungle out back.

What say you, Gear Hounds?

@JerkMoans - it was great to meet you this morning. We could have spent a whole lot more time chatting about all things geeetar and moosic that's for sure.
Hopefully the Blues Cat will be a keeper for you.

    All the best.

Can you imagine how good that will be when the EMGs have been installed?

    Awesome.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

  • That is lovely. You would genuinely think the body and neck were made from a single piece of wood. As Eric Morecambe said so often, you can't see the join. Superb work, @FelineGuitars.

It originally had some ivoroid knobs I was trying out (in a let's copy Collings Guitars kind of way), but Steve Stevens asked me to sell them to him,, so I did.
Good thing really as it looks far better with amber knobs

    Oooh.

Different neck pick up, too, from the look of it.

    Usual outstanding work, Jon ;)
