New ASAT Incoming

Well, about a month ago I picked up a 1997 ASAT Special after having shopped around for a G&L for some time. Another one had caught my eye but I wasn’t able to secure the price for it. Circle back to Monday and the seller reaches out saying he’d meet me at the price point I offered. 

Couldn’t resist....

I went from no G&Ls to two rather quickly. If you’ve not had the chance to play one, suggest you do - sleeper guitars.

That is a beauty - Can't go wrong with G&L, unless you're buying a 5 string bass and can't lift it.

Right at £1k. It’s a special run version, so feel pretty good about that.

I wish I was closer to Andertons so I could try some out.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but does this strike anyone as a little weird? 

Look to me like these side dots on my US-made ASAT Bluesboy semi are in an odd position, they're right on the edge of the rosewood. Factory second perhaps or is that normal?

@Kent747 that's interesting, seems like the dots on yours have a bit of space between them and the fretboard. Thanks for posting.
