Advice please. What are these pickups - real PAF's or something else?

So, about 6 years ago I bought a Dave Johnson handmade LP replica with voodoo pickups. Very nice, but I foolishly decided to source some real PAFs. Saw some advertised on fleabay, as part of a Terry Morgan replica being split into parts, and via the seller I spoke to Clive Brown (who put the guitar together) who advised that the pickups were PAFs from an SG but had been worked on over the years - one being rewound by Bharat K. I bought them, put them into the replica and they sounded great.

Fastforward to now - I've just sold the replica back to the original owner in a swap as he missed it too much - I just couldn't get on with the fake G logo - and I bought a Gil Yaron replica instead - but I put back the voodoo pickups into the DJ.

So I've now got these alleged PAF's, but I really don't know if they are genuine. Maybe the seller switched out the good ones and sold me a dud? Certainly the stickers are wrong as may be some other features, but I have limited knowledge here. Can anyone suggest an expert I can send them to to look at and try out as ultimately they are surplus to requirments and may - or may not - be worth something. They do sound good (to my amateurish ears). Help / advice would be appreciated.

Here is the DJ and Yaron side by side, prior to selling the DJ. Twins in a pod?

The DJ was swapped for a mint 1957 junior:

The corners of the metal covers look more rounded than might be expected. The fastening solder blobs are very scrappy - as if made with an inadequately powerful iron.

What year was claimed for the PAFs?
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

1961 (or not!). Pickup covers have been on and off a lot.

Ash @OilCityPickups will be able to tell you for sure. You will need to have them opened up and examined properly inside to know what you’ve got.

Jon from Throbak created this website to provide everything anyone would want to know about PAF's.  Lot's of photo's you can use to compare with your pickups.
