So, about 6 years ago I bought a Dave Johnson handmade LP replica with voodoo pickups. Very nice, but I foolishly decided to source some real PAFs. Saw some advertised on fleabay, as part of a Terry Morgan replica being split into parts, and via the seller I spoke to Clive Brown (who put the guitar together) who advised that the pickups were PAFs from an SG but had been worked on over the years - one being rewound by Bharat K. I bought them, put them into the replica and they sounded great.
Fastforward to now - I've just sold the replica back to the original owner in a swap as he missed it too much - I just couldn't get on with the fake G logo - and I bought a Gil Yaron replica instead - but I put back the voodoo pickups into the DJ.
So I've now got these alleged PAF's, but I really don't know if they are genuine. Maybe the seller switched out the good ones and sold me a dud? Certainly the stickers are wrong as may be some other features, but I have limited knowledge here. Can anyone suggest an expert I can send them to to look at and try out as ultimately they are surplus to requirments and may - or may not - be worth something. They do sound good (to my amateurish ears). Help / advice would be appreciated.

Here is the DJ and Yaron side by side, prior to selling the DJ. Twins in a pod?

What year was claimed for the PAFs?
