Haven’t played a Tele but I have two Vinteras; my Jazzmaster which I’ve had a while and I just got a Strat, I’m really happy with them both. Not sure how think the finish is because I’ve not chipped one yet!

No idea. It just feels good which is good enough for me. Many guitars have failed that test
