    Jack enjoys the craic.

Still, he was half of the best band of the 00s. If not the best certainly top 3.

I'd get very flustered playing that I'm sure :)

The videos the Dead Weather did were amusing, albeit less informative, "demonstrating" their techniques on Guitar (Dean Fertita), drums (Jack White) and bass (Jack Lawrence)

I think he gets stuff powder coated, his record shop base in Nashville is in a pretty industrial area and he's quite involved with the city so I'd imagine he calls in one off favours with places around there for that kind of thing

His guitar looks a complete mess but it works for him.  So my opinion hardly matters does it......

Remember when he had everything on his pedalboard copper plated.

I saw the White Stripes live shortly after White Blood Cells came out. I knew he was a good player but the stuff on the record was fairly simple. Live, they were a different beast, he absolutely tore it up garage rock blues style. Technically very proficient but all about the song at the end of the day

Yup. The copper "triple jet". Looks stunning but, apparently, is very heavy because of the metal top. Also has an MXR mixro amp built in. ( https://www.myrareguitars.com/guitar-pictures/jack-white-gretsch-triple-jet-guitar-copper.jpg )

Which all reminds me that I have still to pick up the last Raconteurs album which is rather remiss of me.

Phenomenal player that loves his gear! Thanks for sharing the video of his latest development...I'd really love one of those cut off buttons...reminds me of a gemini mixer I started out DJing with...the cross-fade was shocking but the cut off button made a certain kind of scratching possible...would love to have that on a guitar with an volume pedal to taper it off with...might have to be a partscaster project in the pipeline!

Good to see that some pros spend as much time farting around with their guitars as we do
