Hollowbody electric custom build - any ideas?

I'm looking to get a Hollowbody version of Williams' Lil '58.

My first thought is for it to be slightly fatter.  A piezo seems logical, which I got in my solid version.  Pick-ups, I'm less sure on.  I'd quite like it to be a guitar well-suited to jazz, so maybe P90s?  I've enough guitars capable of heavy sounds.  I will likely go hard-tail, rather than Bigsby.

Natural wood top with traditional colours or something flashier?  If you've pics of your favourite hollow body electrics, please share.

Your ideas are welcome!

If you are serious about your jazz comment then built it with an archtop style bridge (and an ebony saddle even), trapeze tailpiece and dog ear p90's.

If you use a normal wraparound etc you'll get a longer solidbody type sustain to the notes.

Mines an interesting hybrid, but I would say the lack of a spruce top makes it less jazzy than requested

I'm still not quite sure how to define it.  It's a  small acoustic archtop  style, but definitely leaning  towards electric with wood choices and neck join.

@wezv It looks great and I frankly don’t want it to be a specialist jazz guitar. But a leaning in its direction.

I have recently been very interested in how a Lollar gold foil pickup sounds in the neck position. Even in solid bodies it sounds very clean/jazzy.

That or a staple p90 in the neck would be a good choice for a smaller body hollow.
